Variants
There are three variants of Judaism, that is, Conservative Judaism, Orthodox Judaism and Progressive. Like many religions around the world, Judaism, have different levels of dedication towards the religion as highlighted in the table below.
- Questioned his father's faith because he worshipped idols. Then came to the believe that the whole universe was the work of a single Creator.
- G-d made an offer to Abram leave his and family in prospects of a better future. Abram accepted this offer, thus creating the First covenant between G-d and the Jewish people.
- Abram and his wife Sarai both in their elderly age were concerned that could not have a child. G-d promised the pair a son, lo and behold Sarai bore her first son which they named Isaac.
- An interesting side note to this is that Abram also had a son Sarai's maidservant Hagar named Ishmael. According the Muslim and Jewish teachings he is that ancestor of the Arabs.

- He is also called " Moshe Rabbeinu", meaning, Moses, Our teacher/rabbi.

- Born on 7 Adar (Jewish Calendar Month) around 1400 B.C.E.
- The name "Moses" derives from a root meaning " to take out", because he was grabbed out of the river the Pharaoh's daughter.
- Moses was banished from Egypt because he killed an Egyptian mistreating the Jewish.
- He spent 40 years in a small town called Midian where he married Zipporah, the daughter of a Midianite priest.
- One day G-d appeared to Moses and elected him to free the Jews enslaved by the Egyptians and lead them to the Promised Land.
- With aid from his brother Aaron, Moses approached the Pharaoh about letting the Jewish people go. The Pharaoh declined this offer so Moses triggered the plagues against Egypt.
- Moses then led them after crossing the sea and escaping from slavery to Mount Sinai where G-d revealed the entire Torah to Moses.
- He is also credited with receiving the Ten Commandments from G-d.
